It’s been a few weeks and it looks like I didn’t miss too much. The Baseball Historians HQ had some problems that prevented me from posting and it looks like it would have just been more losses. The Royals site at an unspectacular 13-27 and they have the very worst record in baseball.
And it’s not hard to believe when your team RBI leader has just 17. John Buck has been a pleasant surprise though and after forgetting he was once a nice shiny prospect, you now see why he had that tag. Lets just hope he can keep it up.
David DeJesus has really cooled off. On April 17, he was hitting .362 and now a month later, he’s at .280. His 30 runs put him at third in the American League though and that’s something for DeJesus to hold his hat on.
Anyway, the Royals continue their series tonight against the Athletics. And with the net problems fixed, I’ll be here to cover all of the wins (and losses).
